When we arrived at Coral Bay we didn’t really set up because there was a storm coming. When it passed we set up and then Taj and I went across to the beach for a snorkel.  There were heaps of fish on all of the days that we were there. We took the Zodiac out and did a lot of fishing.  The fights of some of the fish were amazing. At the end of our fishing trip in the zodiac the motor craped itself and we had to try paddle in but we were just going out further.  In the end another boat came and towed us in.

 

Fishing at Coral Bay was great!  We caught plenty of reef fish. Taj caught a lot of little emperor and 2 big ones which were great to eat. Dad caught a few little fish, 1 spangled emperor, and a shark. Taz didn’t really fish much but caught a few little fish. I caught 1 big spangled emperor, 2 nice cod, 2 huge puffers and a lot of other fish.

 

Exmouth was our next destination where we went snorkelling and stayed in an apartment which was awesome.  Taj and I got our photo up at one of the local fishing shops and the snorkelling was unbelievable.  We also went fishing a bit and we went on a glass bottom boat and snorkelling tour.

 

 

 

Fishing at Exmouth was pretty good we also got to go on a charter which was great. Taj caught 1 Barra, 1 catfish, a few little emperor and a cod. Dad caught 1 whiting and a few emperor and Spanish flag.                        I caught 3 catfish, 1 whiting, a few fish at the marina and on the charter I caught a few emperor, a huge 85 centimetre ranking cod and a cobia which was over a metre.

Our next stop was Karajini National Park.  We did some awesome walks where we got to swim.  At one of the walks there was three swimming holes and one of them had heaps of bass in it that would eat all the dead skin of your feet.  Karajini was amazing but now were off to 80 mile beach where more fishing awaits.
