Barossa – Jurien Bay

When we got to Barossa we went to a games room and Grumps got us two toys each out of the vending machine.  Ryley and I thought that this caravan park was going to be a cracka.  The next morning we woke up and went on the slippery dip before Mum and Dad made us go to the wineries.  Two of the wineries were B O R I N G but Maggie Beers Farm was spectacular.  It was great because there was non-alcohol wine that was really delicious, it tasted a bit like over-fizzed softdrink. Because we had been so good we got to buy some of her homemade ice-cream and we ate it in her kitchen.  At night Ryley and I had a punch on with Grumps in the pool.  Grumps had two noodles and we only had one between us.  We kept on stealing his noodles and beating him.

 

 

 

Flinders Rangers was a bit boring.  Mum made us go on boring walks and I had to have a cold shower.  There were some cool coloured birds that I havent seen before though.

 

 

At Fowlers Bay we went squidding.  I’ve never been squidding before, it was really hard at the start then I got the hang of it.  Ryley caught two squid on the first day and I caught one the next morning.  Dad also caught one.  I released my squid because it was only about 15cm and Dad’s was about 40cm.  The squid tasted very fresh and I ate lots of it. 

Wave Rock was a spectacular rock and it looked exactly like a wave.  We walked on top of the wave and we saw many different lizards. 

AT the caravan park in Perth there was a jumping pillow, two pools and a spa, it was the best ever.  We met two of Mum’s friends, Matty Holmes and Matty Bardsley.  We went to Rottnest Island with Matty Holmes, it was fantastic and beautiful.  At Rottnest my favourite things was the Quokkas and the different snorkelling spots with different fish.  The quokkas were so cute I just wanted to take one home and feed it Doritos because it liked Doritos.  We went to see Freo Dockers at training and it was boring but I did get lots of autographs.  My favourite player is Craig Moller because he has dreadlocks.  He wears number 40.  We went to Matty Bardsley’s for dinner, he told us funny stories about Uncle B. 

We went to an art exhibit on a beach where Tamsyn and I went swimming.  My favourite art was the high cubby houses and the Chick Balls.  Some of the art was weird, like the green alien.  After the exhibition we ate ice-cream. 

I loved Perth and now we’re heading up the coast.
